Your work is yours

You keep all rights to the stories, projects, and other content you create. Inkling claims no ownership of your writing. Your prose lives in your own Google Docs, so you can leave any time and take it with you.

Using Inkling

Use Inkling for your own creative writing. Don’t misuse the service, attempt to access other people’s accounts or data, or use it to break the law. When you invite someone to read a story, they see only the single piece you shared.

Generator features

Inkling’s generator is assistive only: recaps of your own words, cover art, maps, and idea sparks. It never writes your story, and you can turn it off. You’re responsible for the content you create and publish.

Beta & availability

Inkling is evolving quickly. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We do our best to keep your work safe and synced, but the service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Plans & billing

Inkling offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly and can be canceled any time; your writing remains in your Google Docs regardless.
